We are a group of trained volunteer Marine Mammal Medics from British Divers Marine Life Rescue in the Yorkshire and Humber region : we rescue injured and sick seals from the local coast for veterinary treatment followed by release or rehabilitation as appropriate; we also attend stranded cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) and administer first aid before assisting with rescue and refloatation.
Our aim is for all the rescued animals to return to the wild once they are fit and well..
